Aftercare:

- Sun protection: Use broad-spectrum sunscreen with an adequate sun protection factor (SPF) to protect your skin from sun exposure. Avoid direct sun exposure during the first days after treatment.
- Avoid heavy makeup: Avoid wearing heavy makeup for the first 24 hours after treatment. If necessary, you can opt for light makeup without irritating ingredients.
- Avoid irritating products: For the first few days, avoid using skin care products that contain harsh or irritating ingredients, such as retinoids or exfoliating acids.
- Don’t touch your face: Avoid touching, rubbing or scratching the treated area to prevent irritation and possible infections.
- Swelling and redness may occur: It is normal to experience some swelling and redness after treatment. This usually decreases in the following days. You can apply gentle cold compresses to help reduce swelling.
- Avoid intense activities: During the first 24-48 hours, avoid activities that generate a lot of heat in the treated area, such as saunas, hot baths, and intense exercise.
- Follow our special instructions: be sure to follow them. They may include additional aftercare recommendations, depending on your individual needs.
- Follow-up sessions: We recommend between 3 to 4 consecutive sessions for optimal results. Be sure to schedule and attend these sessions as directed by the staff.
