BodyTite-FaceTite-AcuTite

BodyTite is a body contouring procedure that uses radiofrequency technology to reduce fat and tighten skin. It is a safe and innovative treatment for body remodeling! We explain how it works:

  • Bipolar Radio Frequency Technology: BodyTite uses bipolar radio frequency technology. This means that two electrodes emit radiofrequency energy at the same time. One of the electrodes is placed on the surface of the skin, while the other is located under the skin, allowing energy to be transmitted between them.
  • Lipolysis: Radiofrequency applied through BodyTite causes lipolysis, which is the breakdown of fat cells (adipocytes). This helps reduce the amount of fat in the treated area.
  • Skin Tightening: In addition to reducing fat, BodyTite’s radiofrequency technology has a skin tightening effect. The thermal energy generated stimulates the production of collagen and elastin in the deeper layers of the skin, which contributes to improving the firmness and elasticity of the skin.
  • Temperature Control: A key component of BodyTite is its ability to control temperature. The technology includes a real-time temperature control system that monitors and adjusts the temperature of the skin and fatty tissue during the procedure. This helps prevent unwanted thermal injuries and ensures safe and effective application of energy.
  • Minimally Invasive: BodyTite is a minimally invasive procedure. It is usually done using thin cannulas that are inserted through small incisions in the skin. This means there is less trauma to surrounding tissues compared to some more invasive procedures.

Gradual Results

  • BodyTite results may be evident immediately after the procedure, but the skin tightening and remodeling effects continue to improve over time as the body produces more collagen.

Aftercare:

  • Compression: You will be recommended to wear compression garments after the procedure. These garments help minimize swelling, provide support to the treated tissues and encourage the skin to adapt to the new contour.
  • Rest and Limited Physical Activity: It is important to rest during the first days after treatment. Avoid strenuous physical activity, strenuous exercise, and heavy lifting during the initial recovery period.
  • Incision Care: If incisions were made during the procedure, follow wound care instructions provided by your doctor. This may include properly cleaning the incisions and applying any recommended ointment or cream.
  • Avoid the Sun: Avoid direct sun exposure on the treated areas during the first weeks. If you must go out in the sun, use sunscreen with a high protection factor.
  • Hydration: Keep skin well hydrated to promote recovery and minimize dryness. Use lotions or creams recommended by your doctor.
  • Medications and Supplements: Take medications prescribed by our doctor. Also, let us know about any medications or supplements you are taking, as some may affect recovery.
  • Avoid Smoking and Alcohol: If you smoke, try to avoid it during the recovery period, as tobacco can negatively affect wound healing. Limit alcohol consumption as it can increase swelling and prolong recovery.
  • Medical Follow-up: It is very important to follow up according to our instructions to evaluate your progress and receive any necessary adjustments to the postoperative care plan.
