Photorejuvenation, or laser rejuvenation, can consist of the use of different techniques.

With the combination of Intense Pulsed Light IPL, and Non Ablative Fractional Laser, we can perform in the same session spot removal, redness removal, and collagen stimulation.

After 1 week of recovery, the skin will be totally rejuvenated and blemish free.

  • It is important to follow the indications we will give you at the clinic.
  • Sun protection is crucial to maintain the results and protect the treated skin.
  • Although less invasive than ablative lasers, there are still potential risks such as temporary redness, swelling or pigmentation changes.

In our clinic you will have the Light&Bright by Candela® protocol in which we combine both IPL and non-fractional laser technologies to achieve amazing results!

Intense Pulsed Light (IPL)

  • Reduction of skin spots: IPL is effective in treating hyperpigmentation, such as sun spots, age spots, or melasma. Pulsed light acts on dark pigments in the skin, breaking them down so that they lighten and fade over time.
  • Reducing facial redness: IPL can help reduce facial redness caused by conditions such as rosacea or dilated superficial blood vessels. By targeting hemoglobin, pulsed light can close dilated blood vessels, thereby decreasing redness.
  • Improved skin texture: The collagen stimulation caused by IPL can lead to an improvement in the overall texture of the skin, making it appear firmer and smoother.
  • Reduction of small veins: IPL can be effective in treating small facial veins, such as spider veins, improving the appearance of the skin.
  • Collagen stimulation: Pulsed light can stimulate collagen production, which helps improve skin elasticity and firmness over time.

It is important to note that the results are not instantaneous and may require several sessions to achieve the desired effects.

Non-ablative fractional laser

Another popular option for improving skin texture, and unlike ablative lasers (such as the CO2 laser or Erbium laser), this type of laser does not remove superficial layers of the skin. Instead, it uses laser technology to penetrate the skin and stimulate collagen production without damaging the outer layer. Some key features about non-ablative fractional laser:

  • Collagen Stimulation: Unlike ablative lasers that remove superficial layers of the skin, non-ablative lasers work primarily by stimulating collagen production in the deeper layers of the skin.
  • Irregular texture: improves the texture, tone and elasticity of the skin)
  • Enlarged pores: helps reduce the appearance of enlarged pores
  • Fine Lines : improves the appearance of fine lines and minor wrinkles
  • It emits pulses of light that penetrate the deepest layers of the skin without damaging the surface.
  • Stimulates cell regeneration and collagen production.
  • May require multiple sessions for optimal results.
  • It is less painful than ablative treatments.
  • Recovery is usually faster, with less redness and peeling.
  • The results are gradual and may require several sessions.
  • Continued improvement can be seen for several months after treatment.

The non-ablative fractional laser is a popular option for those looking to improve skin texture with less downtime compared to ablative lasers.
